We all wanted to watch some non-Star Wars George Lucas this week. Turns out, there wasn’t really much choice so here’s THX 1138, a film that everyone has misspelled at some point in their lives. It seems he always had the imagination to get alot out of a small budget and remains a surprisngly influencial artist, but really should stop remastering his old stuff. Up for discussion this time: vending machine therapy, futuristic fleshlights, Robert Duvall breakdancing and a few more references to Waiting For Godot than this film probably deserves.
