Documentary film? Music film? Hmmm…music documentary film! This week we get all grungy as we wade in to the murky depths of Cobain: Montage of Heck, a documentary focusing on Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain using many audio and video home recordings to create a very intimate and sometimes disturbing portrait of his life.
This week we ask an important question: When will Jamie learn to stop watching videogame movies? And also when will he stop making us watch them too? We discussed the original movie with middling attitudes and (surprise, surprise) it’s the same this time around with 2018’s more gritty (as Jamie tends to remind us) adaptation of Tomb Raider.
We promised you some more Keanu Reeves so here it is and we’ve thrown in some surfing, skydiving, bank robberies and shooting guns in the air with Point Break. It has become a cult masculine action movie classic over the years and we can see why, but by God do we have some problems with the characters. Tune in to find out more.
