Ghosts! Bill Cosby! A mess of a plot! ‘Ghost Dad’ is a strange beast of a comedy from 1990 starring Cosby and directed by the legend Sidney Poitier. Join Rich, Ant and Abi as they go over this lamentably bad film in the latest ‘Spoiler Filled Film Conversation Hooray’. Incidentally, ghosts aren’t real, and if you disagree then tell Rich so. Also, this episode (26) was recorded in 2013 before any news broke about the historical Bill Cosby scandal, so don’t expect any jokes or refinances on the topic, though no doubt the wise cracks would have been funny.

This time in Spoiler Filled Film Conversation Hooray, we find Rich, Ant, Abi and Jamie jabbering on about tonal discordance, the escalation into gadgety lunacy, and an unexpected preoccupation with Bryan Brown and his pants in this 1986 thriller. Sometimes black magic works? That’s the message we want from our family movies?
