Well, whatever the reason we have finally deemed it time to examine this huge part of our comedy culture by watching, what we have been assured is ‘one of the good ones’, Carry On Up The Khyber. 459: Southland Tales [2006] Movie Discussion

Richard Kelly took the world by storm with his debut feature Donnie Darko. There was a lot of expectation on his follow-up Southland Tales, a film that seemed to promise even more originality and mind-bending antics. Unfortunately, what everyone got was probably the biggest sophomore slump in film history with a drawn out, pretentious and non-sensical movie. What did we make of it?
